Brahim Oubrik, Founder

Ideal Remit was founded by Brahim Oubrik, a senior data engineer who experienced firsthand the challenges of sending money internationally. Living in France while supporting his family in Morocco, Brahim regularly needed to transfer funds across borders.

What should have been a straightforward process became frustrating—he found it difficult to find reliable, unbiased information about the various money transfer services available.

The options seemed endless, but comparing them was confusing. Which service offered the best exchange rates? Were the advertised "no fee" transfers really the best deal? How long would his family have to wait to receive the money? These simple questions didn't have simple answers.
